Such employees work for a long time in companies. In the last few years, the number of GIG Workers has also increased due to the growth of online businesses in India. It is estimated that there are between 10 and 12 crore workers in the country at the moment.

In India, most of the workforce is connected to online food platforms, e-commerce companies, and other distribution services Like Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, Swiggy Etc

A large number of gears work in the profession, such as driving. The work of GIG Worker, who sells online goods, becomes more important. Most companies deliver the goods at will. But often customers are asked to deliver after office hours or early in the morning.

In this case, the permanent employees are not fully qualified. The company does this through GIG workers. GIG Worker has no time. They are ready to work at any time the company calls. There is an understanding between the employees and the company that works as a gig worker.
