Ishaan wraps up shooting for war drama 'Pippa', shares first look

Ishaan Khatter will soon be seen in Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur's film Pippa. He has completed the shooting of his film. Along with this, he also shared his looks as young Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta from the film. 

Actor Ishaan Khatter on Monday said that he has completed the shooting of his upcoming film Pippa. The film Pippa is based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta's book 'The Burning Coffee'. The film will depict the bravery of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta (Khattar) who fought on the Eastern Front along with his brothers during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. 

Raja Krishna Menon, director of the film 'Airlift', is presenting his new project in association with producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Sharing the completion of the shooting of the film on his Instagram account, Khattar wrote, 'I am filled with gratitude from the experience of this film. 

It is a dream to work with such a great team. Humble and full of love. This is your Captain Balram Singh Mehta from 'Pippa'. Along with this, he also shared some scenes from the film. The title of the film is taken from the Russian battle tank PT-76 known as 'Pippa'. The film has music by AR Rahman. Apart from Khattar, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan have also acted in the film.

In another photo, Ishaan is also seen dancing and cutting the wrap-up celebration cake. 'Pippa' is based on 'The Burning Chaffies' by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Raja Krishna Menon is directing it. It is based on the Indo-Pak war in 1971 which brings to life a glorious chapter of Indian history. The film has been shot in Amritsar, West Bengal, Ahmednagar and Mumbai. This film will be released on 9 December 2022. Along with Ishaan, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan will also be seen in it.
